Avoid the Dark
Avoid the Dark is an endless flier with exactly two inputs and no mercy. You pilot a ship through the canyons of a ruined city, weaving left and right between buildings while your fuel gauge drains and the score ticks up with every meter. When the fuel's gone or the architecture wins, the run ends and you'll be hitting restart before the score screen finishes loading.
It's a pure one-more-run game in the arcade tradition: nothing to learn beyond left and right, everything to master in when and how hard you commit to each weave. Fuel canisters float along the route, and the entire game lives in the tension between the line you want to fly and the line the fuel demands. Playable on desktop and in VR, the cockpit is yours and the buildings come at you.
Collect the fuel packages to replenish the fuel you lose during your run to keep going.
How to Play
Q / Grip Button - Start game A / Left Trigger Button - Fly left D / Right Trigger Button - Fly right
Avoid buildings, collect the fuel to avoid it depleting. The further you fly, the higher your score.

Tips
- Eyes ahead, not on the ship. By the time a building fills your view it's already too late — read two obstacles ahead and the weaving handles itself.
- Fly the fuel line. The cleanest path is worthless if you starve. When fuel appears off your line, take it, distance you can't fly doesn't score. Try going for the less risky fuel packages.
- Small inputs early beat big inputs late. Start your weave the moment you spot the gap; last-second jerks stack errors that catch up with you two buildings later.
- Treat short runs as warmups. Your reaction time needs a run or two to wake up. The real attempt is the third one.
Backstory
After Earth Defender the world was destroyed by meteorites. You are scrapping the last fuel in a post-apocalyptic city to get as far as possible.
