geobeat is a WebXR rhythm dodge game built for browsers and headsets. You stand in front of an abstract arena where geometry, light, and sound lock together into a single pulse. Obstacles spawn on the beat and sweep inward toward the center. Your job is to read the groove, stay on rhythm, and slip through the gaps before the walls close in.

Scoring rewards time survived and flow. Beat-aligned motion means runs are comparable across sessions, so your best run is a real the community's. Milestones for reaching square, hexagon, and octagon tiers double as bragging rights for how deep you pushed a single round.

geobeat runs instantly in the browser on desktop and mobile, and in AR on XR headsets, where the arena drops into your real-world space through the camera. No download, no install, just the loop.

Controls

You move around the polygon one side at a time. Each input steps you to the next edge in that direction.

In XR

Left controller trigger or pinch - step counter-clockwise along the shape. Right controller trigger or pinch - step clockwise.

On desktop / browser

A or ← - move counter-clockwise along the polygon. D or → - move clockwise along the polygon.

Touch

Touch on the left side to move counter-clockwise and on the right side to move clockwise.

Mouse

Left click to move counter-clockwise and right click to move clockwise.

Tips

  • Make small, early steps. One edge at a time keeps you in control. Over-rotating into a wall is the most common run-ender.
  • Look ahead, not at your feet. Track the obstacles spawning at the outer ring so you already know where the next gap will be.
  • Chase the tiers. Line → square → hexagon → octagon is the real progression curve. Treat each tier as the checkpoint to beat on your next run.
