Shed Racer

Shed Racer is a free browser-based 3D racing game built for desktop, mobile and VR/AR headsets (via WebXR). Race fast toy-style cars across twisty tracks, drifting through corners, hitting boost pads, dodging oil slicks, sliding over snow, jumping ramps, and fighting for first place against AI, friends, or online players. Play instantly in your browser with keyboard, gamepad, touch controls, VR controllers or your hands.

The game includes Career Mode, Quick Race, Infinite Survival, Local Split-Screen Multiplayer, Online Multiplayer, Community Tracks, a full Track Editor, and a Garage where you can customize vehicles, paint, wheels, hats, and decals. Shed Racer is playable on desktop, mobile browsers, and WebXR devices like Meta Quest, with VR tabletop racing, AR passthrough support, and first-person driving.

Game Modes

Career Mode: Race through cups, earn stars, unlock new races, collect coins, and progress through increasingly difficult tracks.

Quick Race: Jump straight into a race against AI opponents.

Infinite Mode: Survive as long as possible on a streaming track while the road collapses behind you. Collect coins, hit boosts, and chase your best survival time.

Multiplayer: Play local split-screen races for 2-4 players on desktop, or host/join private online rooms.

Community Tracks: Browse, play, like, and publish custom tracks made by players.

Track Editor: Build your own tracks with roads, corners, ramps, holes, barriers, boost pads, oil slicks, and snow zones.

Garage: Customize your racer with vehicles, colors, wheels, decals, and hats. VR / AR Mode: Play in WebXR with controller or hand tracking, including tabletop-style racing, passthrough AR, and first-person driving.
